Joe Rudolph

Joe has been working with Freestone Aquatics since early 2022 as a Fishery Sciences Director. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, with an emphasis on natural resource management, and a minor in Geography. Following his undergraduate studies, Joe applied his passion for natural systems in the agriculture and geotechnical trades. As a longtime sportsman with experience angling and rafting rivers across the west, Joe draws from his educational background in natural sciences, career experience, and passion for recreating in aquatic ecosystems when working on projects with Freestone Aquatics. These tasks include coordinating pre- and post-construction reporting, fisheries management, design, permitting, as well as, heavy equipment operation during our field season. During his time with Freestone, Joe has also been responsible for riffle and structure builds, pond excavation, dam construction, aeration system installation, revegetation efforts, fish stocking, and graphic design. In his free time, Joe enjoys fly fishing, rafting, bird hunting with his German Shorthaired Pointer, and cooking.
